Minyar (in the upper reaches of the Upper Minyar) is a river, the right tributary of the Sim ( Belaya basin), the water content of which is almost doubled. It is 42 kilometers long and has a catchment area of 609 km². [2] The origin is on the southern slope of the Karatau ridge. It flows through the Ashinsky district of the Chelyabinsk region . At the confluence of the Sim, the Minyar reservoir is arranged.

Flora and Fauna
Along the shores, on the slopes of the mountains, there is a mixed forest, right near the water there are alder forests . Of amphibians , a grass frog is found in many. Of the birds, the most common are gray heron , carrier, shovel , common lentils , siskin , finch , mountain wagtail , zaryanka , garden reed , reed badger , black kite , common buzzard , blackfields, fieldfare , songbird, and others. In coastal forests squirrel , there is a beaver .

Title
According to one version, the name of the river comes from the ancient Turkic ming - "thousand" and yar - "shore", literally - "river of a thousand banks." According to another version, the basis of the name comes from the ethnonym Bashkir tribe Ming [3] .
