The club was founded in 1915 under the name of FC "Daring", but a few years later changed its name to "Abner". In 1940, the club was renamed CB 1915, but in 1944 they again returned their former name “Abner” to it.
"Abner" plays in the top division of the championship of Luxembourg in football from 1965-66, but in 2005-06 he was eliminated in the lower division. Finishing second in their first season in the Second Division, “Abner” was returned to the top division .
