Album Information
The album was the first Pendragon release released on Toff Records' own record label [1] . For a long time it was believed that the album was recorded as a demo for EMI [2] , and later this information was confirmed by the group [1] .
Like many other neo-prog bands, by the end of the 1980s Pendragon began to lean toward pop rock [2] . On the Kowtow album , the pop-rock component is especially noticeable in the compositions “Saved By You” and “2 AM”. In general, the album was not very successful and did not bring Pendragon the desired commercial success [3] .
In August 2012, the album was remastered and re-released with bonus tracks and a new cover [4] .
