Lazic, George

Club career

Lazic began to play for teams from the lower leagues of Yugoslavia, playing for Budostnost (Valjevo), Repair, Machva, Sevojno. In 2005 he moved to Mladost (Luciani), in which he was the top scorer of the Second League (11 goals). In January 2007 he moved to Partizan , played a total of 52 matches and scored 7 goals for the club. He was one of the leading players in the championship leader of Serbia .

In the off-season of the 2008/09 season, he was interested in Kharkov “ Metalist ”, Dnepropetrovsk “ Dnipro ” and Donetsk “ Metallurg ” ^[2] .

January 11, 2009 officially became a player of Metallurg ^[3] . He became the first newcomer to Donetsk Metallurg in the winter offseason. On the first day after the leave of the Donetsk team, the Serb at the training base underwent a medical examination and signed a contract. For his transfer, the Donetsk team paid 500,000 euros ^[4] . He made his debut in the Ukrainian championship on February 27, 2009 in the match Metallurg - Krivbass (1: 1) ^[5] .

In January 2016, he went to view in " Steel " ^[6] .

In July 2016, he announced his retirement ^[7] .

In the 20th of July, he decided to continue his playing career and moved to the Greek club “Xanthi” ^[8] .

In November 2007, he was invited to a match for the Serbian national team , in the qualifying tournament for Euro 2008 , when the Serbs accepted the team of Kazakhstan .
