Arsenyev, Konstantin Borisovich

Born on January 17, 1967 in Kaliningrad ^[1] (Moscow region). Father - Oganjanov Boris Sergeevich, mother - Arsenyeva Raisa Ivanovna. He graduated from school number 13 (1983). Poems began to compose at the age of 12. In high school, he began to write songs. The songs were successful, they were picked up and began to be sung to guitar in different cities of the country, but Konstantin for a long time did not regard the composition as work: the lack of musical education and creative environment prevented him, he boiled in his own juice and, having left for the army in 1985 , abandoned the work.

After the army, from time to time, Konstantin sang his songs with the company, and he was suddenly offered to perform in national concerts. There, other musicians drew attention to the quality of his lyrics, and asked him to write words on their music, and thus involved him in the profession of a songwriter. The turning point was a meeting with composer Igor Valerievich Zubkov: the authors tried to work together, and among their first songs were Feminine Happiness and Chauffeur-Trucker for Tatyana Ovsienko and Without You and Tango Threesome for Kristina Orbakaite . The author’s duet of Konstantin Arsenyev and Igor Zubkov created the albums of Tatyana Ovsienko “We Need to Fall in Love” (1995) and “Beyond the Pink Sea” (1997), which also included School Time, My Sun, and My Girlfriend Ne Forget the others too. The same duet wrote dozens of songs for Mikhail Shufutinsky , including Nakolochka, Mardzhanja, Crimea, Young Lady-Cherry, etc., for Philip Kirkorov - Lovely and Madly Lonely, for the Shtar group - Red Dress and Women's Love, for Alena Apina - Childhood and Trains , for Valery Syutkin - Far Far Away and many others.

In 1997, a meeting between Konstantin Arsenyev and Igor Yakovlevich Krutoy took place, and the established creative duo released dozens of songs into the world, including Unfinished Roman ( I. Krutoy -I. Allegrova ), Treasures of the Black Sea, I Forgot Your Face and Rope Plyasun (V. Leontiev), Lunar trail (Alsou), FC Shakhtar anthem and many others. Collaboration with Igor Matvienko turned out to be fruitful: Snegiri-Ne Giri saw you, You are Sky, I-Earth for Ivanushki International, Romance, Not Guilty I am for the Factory group, Old Friends for Lube and much more. In 1998, Konstantin began producing. Together with Eugene Fridland , the project was created by the Prime Minister and a number of songs were written for him (Woe-Not Trouble, Atomic Feeling Love).

While working on his second album, Konstantin left the project for creative reasons. Konstantin said that in Russian show business there is a significant gap between positive pop music, where no one expects a semantic load, and rock music, where there is some sense, but it is very depressing.

It turns out that there was not enough mainstream, adult performers whose positive music would not interfere with the words. Therefore, having met with the singer Pavel Titov, Konstantin suggested that he make the Pascal project (hence the name: a measure of pressure is measured in Pascals). The music was mainly written by Pavel, and the words by Konstantin, and this duet created the Silk Heart, One Hundred Percent of Love, Summer, Summer, Summer and God, How Long, which Pascal and Constantine performed with a duet. At that time, Konstantin began working with Grigory Leps , and together with Pascal wrote the song First Birthday to him. At concert venues, often working with Pascal, Grigory performed the part of Konstantin several times, who didn’t think about working on stage for his author’s concerns, and a few years later Grigory Leps recorded this song solo.Then Konstantin wrote the text Rat-Jealousy on the melody of Grigory , the song became a landmark for the artist, and with this began a long fruitful work in the project of Grigory Leps, dozens of songs were released, among which On The Strings Of Rain, She Is Not Yours, I Do Not Love You, What Can A Man, Go Beautifully, Different People And Many Other ugie.Konstantin was a nominal producer of Pascal, but he was more interested in the creative process, he lacked a financial and administrative structure, so after completing work on his second album, One Hundred Percent of Love, Konstantin transferred the project to the Centum production center at the request of Pascal, and the co-authors collaborated with since then it was limited to separate songs. In general, the framework of show business, limiting the author to “popular” topics, increasingly burdened Konstantin, forcing him to look for new ways.

One of these ways was the musical “Robin Hood” created by Arsenyev in collaboration with composer Yevgeny Zagot, librettist Olga Nikiforova and director Nina Chusova, staged by the Globe Theater in Novosibirsk, a musical in which Konstantin tried once again to look at the eternal theme of justice in the human soul .

These questions are many, they expect from the author of creative answers. Therefore, the new songs and projects of Arsenyev have an increasingly philosophical color. This, for example, folk-rock band Yarilov Znoi ^[2] , with whom Konstantin brings to life his understanding of the modern folk collective, and is looking for answers to questions that are important for today's people. Konstantin Arsenev also releases songs in his own performance, ^[3] returning his voice in order to express his feelings not directly through the performers.
