History

The brigade district was formed on 02/14/1941 on the basis of the Order of the People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR No. 0015.

He covered the Murmansk and the objects of the Murmansk railway , was part of the Northern Air Defense Zone .

As part of the army from 06/22/1941 to 12/09/1941 .

In 18-55, 06/27/1941, by the forces of the 33rd separate anti-aircraft artillery battalion, it reflected the first attack of enemy bombers on Murmansk .

07/02/1941 , anti-aircraft gunners of the same division shot down three of the twelve bombers who bombed the section of the Kirov railway between the stations Shongui - Loparskaya (20-40 km south of Murmansk). He participated in the protection of ground troops during the fighting on the Murmansk direction.

07/21/1941 , 08/10/1941, and 08/13/1941 , reflecting the massed daily raids of bombers on Murmansk.

08.22.1941 , subordinate to the commander of the 14th Army Air Defense

09/10/1941 reflects a massive raid of bombers on Murmansk.

12/09/1941 disbanded, on the basis of the area, the center of the Murmansk Air Defense Division Region was deployed on January 21, 1942 [1] .

  • 487th Separate Anti-aircraft Artillery Division
  • 99th separate anti-aircraft artillery battery
  • The 73rd Separate VNOS battalion (it had 22 posts on the Murmansk direction and 7 on Kandalaksha on June 22, 1941. The posts were located from the village of Ura-Guba to the Kovda station.

Staffing

On July 10 , 1941 , the district had 56 76.2 mm guns, 12 37 mm guns and 12 large-caliber machine guns.
