Vincent Rosenzweig von Schwannau ( German: Vinzenz Rosenzweig von Schwannau ; 1791 , Znaim - December 8, 1865 , Vienna ) - Austrian orientalist , professor at the Academy of Oriental Languages in Vienna. Known for translations from the Persian language into German, which he published with the Persian text; the most important of them are: “Jousouf und Sulaïkha” by Diami (Vienna, 1824 ), “Kacidat und Borda” (1824), “Sofas” by Rumi ( 1834 ) and “Sofa” by Hafiz ( 1840 and later).
