Rosenkampf (baronial clan)

Rosenkampf ( German: Rosenkampff ) is a noble and baronial genus descended from the Swedish captain from Estonia, Johann Riesenkampf ( German Riesenkampff , 1655-1687), who received the noble dignity in 1687 and took the name von Rosenkampff ( German von Rosenkampff ). His great-grandson Caspar-Heinrich von Rosenkampf (1734-1790) was the Livonian land marshal [1] ; Gustav Andreyevich von Rosenkampf - his son.

The genus Rosenkampf is included in the noble matricles of the Livonia province and the Grand Duchy of Finland .

By the highest decree, dated July 13/25, 1817, the senior member of the commission for drafting laws, the current state councilor Gustav-Adolf Andreevich Rosenkampf and his nephew, engineer-lieutenant of the corps of communications, Karl Andreevich Rosenkampf were elevated, with descending descendants, to the baronial dignity of the Great Principality of Finland . Their clan was introduced, September 5/17, 1818, in the matrix of the Knights' House of the Grand Duchy of Finland , in the number of baronial clans, under No. 27.

Coat of arms of the nobles Rosenkampf: the shield is divided horizontally into two unequal parts. In the upper, smaller part, in a silver field, are three red roses. In the lower, for the most part, in the blue field, the left-turned arm in armor holds a silver saber.

There is a noble helmet on the coat of arms, from which two banners come out, right white, left blue, and between them a red rose on a green stem. Bast silver, padded with blue and red.
