Short biography
Born December 27, 1947 in Barnaul . After school, he entered the Altai Medical Institute , where in his first year he showed the makings of composing - he participated in amateur performances and KVN , sang and composed songs. After graduating from the institute, despite the fact that the rector had predicted a great medical career for him [1] , Oleg decided to devote himself entirely to music and entered the Novosibirsk Conservatory in the composition class, which he graduated in 1976 . Since then, he has been actively composing songs, has collaborated with many musical groups and entertainers . Since 1978 - member of the USSR IC . Since 1994 - Member of the International Union of pop figures .
In the early 90s, Oleg Ivanov with the poet Lev Oshanin conducted more than twenty joint authorial concerts for the Belarusian regions affected by the Chernobyl accident .
