History
In Soviet times, the club changed its name many times, but played mainly in the lower leagues of the championship of the BSSR. Since 1993, the club began performing in the Second League of the championship of Belarus.
In 2003, the club was headed by a native of Baranavichy, formerly known striker Andrei Khlebosolov. He invited experienced players to Baranavichy, with whom he played earlier (of which Sergey Sergel became the most famous among club fans). As a result, the club confidently won the Second League and entered the First League.
In the First League, “Baranavichy” first occupied a place in the middle of the table. After that, the club acted more confidently: in 2009 and 2010, it occupied the final 6th place, and the Baranavichy player Mikhail Kolyadko became the top scorer in the 2009 season. But in the 2011 season, the main players left the club due to financial problems, and won no victories for the season, Baranavichy again dropped out in the Second League.
The club finished the 2012 season in the lower half of the Second League table. In 2013, the club performed more successfully, taking fifth place. In the 2014 season, after a bitter struggle, the team won in group B and reached the final round. In the final, “Baranavichy” were first outside the first three, which went to the First League. But, having won a number of victories in the last rounds, the team was able to take first place and three years later to return to the First League.
