Keijo nippo

Keijo nippo ( Jap. 京城 Keijo: nippo: literally " Keijo Daily Newspaper") is a newspaper published in Korea from 1906 to 1945. It was founded by decree of Ito Hirobumi, the resident general of Korea, in 1906 under the name " Kanjou nippo". It came out in Japanese. After the annexation of Korea, Japan received the name Keijo nippo and, along with the newspaper Meil Shinbo ( Kor. 매일 신보 ), was one of the press organs of the general governorship. In October 1945, several months after Korea’s independence, Keijo nippo ceased to exist.
