In 1932 he moved with his mother to Sverdlovsk .

Prishvin , which the writer himself approved: “The“ Pantry of the Sun ”was published countless times by different countries, and on my shelf“ The Pantries ”of all sizes and colors. But yours is the best ” [3] .
The first works were created using the technique of ink pen drawing, then the artist turns to the technique of linocut , etching , lithography , book and easel graphics ; recently uses tempera , watercolor , gouache . Stylistic originality is determined by expressiveness, expressiveness of lines and hatching, craving for monumentality.
The fame brought to V. Volovich illustrations of medieval literature : " Words about Igor's regiment ", " Richard III ", "The novel about Tristan and Isolde " and other works.
Since 1952, participating in art exhibitions, the first works were exhibited in Irbit (Sverdlovsk region). In 1956 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR .
