OZM-3 - Soviet anti-personnel jumping round fragmentation mine .
It was developed in the USSR. When a fuse is triggered, a powder moderator is ignited, which ignites a charge , consisting of a checker of black powder , in the central firing tube. The latter, throws to a height of about 0.4-1.4 meters mineshell. At this time, the combustion of the powder moderator occurs. As soon as the flame reaches the detonator capsule, the latter explodes, causing the main mine to explode. The defeat is inflicted by fragments of a mine shell. Mina, exploding at a level of 0.4-1.4 meters, hit with shrapnel even fighters lying on the ground.
Currently ( 2009 ), the OZM-3 mine is not being produced.
