Ukraine Transitional Football League 1992/1993

2nd Ukrainian Football Championship among representatives of the Transitional League . It was held in two rounds, one match at home, one away from the period from August 15, 1992 to July 3, 1993 . The winner of the tournament was the Neftekhimik team ( Kremenchug ).

  • Before the start of the season the team “Fetrovik” (Khust) was called “Andesit”.
  • Before the start of the season, the team “Lysonya” (Berezhany) changed its name to “Falcon” and performed under this name in the first round.
  • Before the start of the season, the Silur team (Khartsyzsk) was called the Miner, and in the first round it was called the Kanatchik.
  • In the first round, the Niva-Borisfen team (Mironovka) was called the Niva . “Niva-Borisfen” (Mironovka) remained in the transitional league, and its place in the second league was taken by the new team “Borisphen” (Boryspil) , which included a number of players from the Niva-Borisfen team.
  • The Antratsit team (Kirovskoye) in the first round was called the Miner and represented the village of Gornoye . After the season ended , Anthracite withdrew from the championship and the team Prometheus (Shakhtersk) received the right to move to the second league .
