The main activity in kozhuun is agriculture [17] . In 2007, 123 thousand small cattle , 8 thousand cattle , 2 thousand horses [16] , farmland area - 205 972 hectares , sown area - 76 hectares [17] .
Industry: State Unitary Enterprise “Salt Mine“ Dus-Dag “” and several small bakery enterprises (bakeries) [17] .
Transportation
The A163 Chadan highway, the Handagayty- Borshoo customs terminal, runs through the kozhuun territory.
Attractions
A part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site , the Ubsunur Basin, is located on the territory of Ovursky Kozuun.
