Heinrich Pilipsons (also Heinrichs Pilipsons , Latvian. Heinrihs Pilipsons ) is a Soviet and Latvian documentary and feature film operator.

Biography
Born March 10, 1936 in the city of Kaluga , the RSFSR . He graduated from the operator department of VGIK ( 1975 ). At the Riga film studio since 1954 . He began his career in 1959 , first as an assistant, then as a documentary filmmaker. His early films You and Me ( 1963 ) and Hand and Heart ( 1965 ) were well received by critics [1] .
The debut in the feature film genre followed, the first work with the director Mikhail Bogin on the film "Two", which received international recognition. Then in a row seven films with the director Alois Branch , he shot all his most popular detective stories.
After 1974 he made films with directors such as Dzidra Ritenberg , Peteris Krylovs and Olgert Dunkers . In the early 1980s, he made several films at other film studios, but soon returned to Riga .
Member of the Union of Cinematographers of Latvia since 1977 .
He died on October 21, 2014 in Riga, Latvia.
