Biography

Mikhail Ivanov was born on November 20, 1977 in the city of Ostrov of the Pskov Region. He started skiing at 11 years old. His first coach was Pavel Gennadievich Mischenkov. In the national team he trained under the guidance of the honored trainer of the USSR Alexander Grushin . After graduation, Mikhail Ivanov graduated from Velikiye Luki State Institute of Physical Culture , specialty - skiing trainer. In August 2006, he married a graduate of the same institute. Sports career

In the Russian team Mikhail Ivanov since 1998. In 2000, he won the summer championship of Russia, held in his hometown.
