Biography

Born in the family of a joiner of railway workshops. He began his career in 1928 as a student at the Orel station.

  • 1928 - 1930 - Secretary, then chairman of the working committee of the Lava quarry of the lime plant No. 6, Yelets .
  • 1930 - 1934 - Student of the Moscow Planning Institute.
  • 1934 - 1935 - Senior economist of the State Planning Commission of the USSR .
  • 1935 - 1936 - Service in the Red Army, junior artillery commander.
  • 1936 - 1938 - in the system of the State Planning Commission of the USSR: the head of the group, the head of the sector, the acting head of the department.
  • 1938 - 1941 - in the Economic Council under the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR: senior consultant, department head, secretary.
  • 1941 - 1942 - Head of the secretariat and deputy manager of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR.
  • 1942 - 1943 - Secretary of the Transport Committee at the GKO .
  • 1943 - 1945 - First deputy chief of Glavsnabugol at the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR.
  • 1945 - 1948 - Head of Glavsnabugol at the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR.
  • 1948 - 1949 - Deputy, First Deputy Chairman of the USSR Gosnab . According to M. Smirtyukov , with the filing of Pomaznev, the deployment of the Leningrad affair began : “Deputy Chairman of the Gossnab Mikhail Pomaznev wrote a letter to the Council of Ministers stating that the chairman of the State Planning Commission Voznesensky lays down underestimated figures in annual plans. To verify the letter, a commission was created, headed by Malenkov and Beria ” [1] .
  • 1949 - 1953 - Manager of the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
  • 1953 - 1965 - Chairman of the Ryazan Regional Planning Commission.
  • 1965 - 1966 - Deputy Head of the Ryazanstroy Association.
  • 1966 - 1972 - chief specialist, head of department — deputy head of department of the State Committee of the USSR CM for prices.
  • Since 1972, retired.

He was buried at Kuntsevsky cemetery [2] .
