Report

Jim Clark celebrated Hogmanay’s Scottish holiday by dominating the race, leading the pole position, breaking the 100 mph barrier, 160 minutes ahead of Graham Hill and John Curtis, and in the end he won, even though checkered flag was shown on a circle earlier. Mike Spence , Bruce McLaren and debutant Jackie Stewart were in the points zone. At the Grand Prix, Goodyear made its debut, the tires of which appeared on the Brabham cars, eventually depriving the other tire company Dunlop of a monopoly.
