Biography

Nikita Sergeevich was born in St. Petersburg province . In the 1870s, he was educated at the 3rd gymnasium of St. Petersburg , after which he voluntarily went to Siberia to work as a school teacher.

Since July 1876, Nelyubov was a teacher of the gymnasium in Yeniseisk . In August 1879 he moved to Verkhneudinsk and took the position of full-time superintendent of schools of the Verkhneudinsky district. He took care of opening new schools and colleges, organized temporary pedagogical courses for parish teachers.

He was engaged in active social activities. On November 1, 1881, on the initiative of Nelyubov, the first public library (now the National Library of the Republic of Buryatia ) began to operate in Verkhneudinsk. Also, Nelyubov took part in the opening of the Verkhneudinsky public meeting, developed a charter for him. Conducted meteorological research.

The first amateur performances began to be staged in Verkhneudinsk in the 1870s. In the early 1880s, Nelyubov created a troupe of "lovers of dramatic art", which is considered the beginning of theatrical activity in the city. Most of the actors were teachers of Verkhneudinsk. For some time V.V. Bechasnov, the son of the Decembrist V. A. Bechasny, took part in the activities of the theater. The theater staged plays by A. Ostrovsky “ Profitable Place ” and “ Forest ”, performed by Russian and French authors. The fees from the performances went to support the activities of the educational institutions of the district.

Active public activity Nelyubova did not like the authorities. So, for example, in 1883 the police put notes on theater posters that tickets would be sold at the police department. In 1890, Nelyubov was prosecuted for allegedly forged inventory of property in 1885. Nelyubov repeatedly at various instances proved his innocence, but the city council again instituted proceedings. Only in 1897 the governor of the Trans-Baikal region officially dismissed the case “for the unprovability of the fact of a crime”.

In 1893, Nelyubov was the Chairman of the Pedagogical Council of the Verkhneudinsky female 4-year gymnasium [1] .

The further fate of Nelyubov is not known.
