Borel, Daniel

Daniel Borel is a non-executive member of the Logitech Board of Directors . As one of the three founders of Logitech, Daniel Borel worked from 1988 to 2007 as chairman of the board of directors. In 1981, Borel became a co-founder of Logitech, and from 1992 to 1998 served as CEO.

In 1997, he secured an initial public offering on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange in the United States .

Borel serves on the board of directors of Nestlé SA and on the board of the Defitech Foundation for Persons with Disabilities and is chairman of the board of the SwissUp Foundation, which aims to further improve education in Switzerland .

Borel holds an École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland) degree in physics and a master 's degree in computer technology from Stanford University ( California ).
