Lyovkin, Vladimir Alexandrovich

Vladimir Levkin was born in Moscow on June 6, 1967 . He spent his early childhood years abroad in Potsdam . From the age of 6 he entered the music school in the accordion class, and only a year later he went to general education . Then the family returned to Moscow.

After four years of learning to play the button accordion, he began to master the guitar , and this became a real passion. He is organizing the Mercury Lake group with friends. The guys gather at home, playing guitars and using everything that comes to hand as musical instruments.

After school, he enters the MPEI , but training is interrupted by a summons to the draft board . Levkin serves in a ship repair battalion near Murmansk . During his service years, he plays the guitar in the Horizon army ensemble. A note about him in the local newspaper Komsomolets Zapolyarya for March 1987 was preserved in the archives. Returning from the army, Vladimir enters Gnesinka .

As an experiment, he decides to participate in a competition organized by Bari Alibasov . So begins his career in the Na-na group. According to Levkin himself, the fact that he was accepted was a big surprise even for himself, because on the qualifying rounds of the competition he performed songs of his own composition.

At the peak of popularity, in 1996 , Levkin entered the directing department at GITIS and successfully completed it (in absentia). In 1997, starred in the video of Eugene Osin "Do not, don’t cry ...". Then he was diagnosed with a disease - cancer of the lymphatic system . The treatment lasted 10 years.

In the summer of 1998, the contract with Na-na ends, and Vladimir leaves the group.

He starred in television series and released his first solo album , Steps to Myself . He writes and organizes editions of his poetry collections “I would like to stay forever so young and immaculate ...” and “Parallels” .

From 1999 to 2000, he was the host of the Musical Kitchen and Ah Ah, anecdote programs on the TV Center channel.

In 2000, Vladimir Lyovkin received an invitation from Vyacheslav Kachin (Slavets) to the Kedbl group (the group released two albums: Flomaster and Zapanki ). Vladimir was the organizer, soloist, producer and manager of the group, but a serious illness forces the singer to leave the stage and chained him to a hospital bed for a long time.

December 17, 2003, Vladimir undergoes a complex operation, as a result of which his health is recovering. The singer returns to an active stage and social life.

Since June 2006, Vladimir Levkin has been engaged in social activities and is the director of culture of the public organization Union of Social Justice of Russia ^[1] . He is actively involved in charity work. So, on September 6, 2008, Vladimir took part in the Shield and Lyra charity event dedicated to the memory of employees who died in the line of duty, November 18, 2008 - “Abkhazia is the country of friends” , December 25, 2008 - “Miracles of the new year” . Vladimir visits children's hospitals and medical centers, social shelters and orphanages.

On June 5, 2009, the Directorate for Culture and Sports of the Union of Social Justice of Russia, led by Levkin, together with the Muz-TV channel organized a grandiose action: children from correctional orphanages, socially disadvantaged families, hospitals and boarding schools were able to attend the VII Muz-TV 2009 Prize .

June 7, 2009, Vladimir Lyovkin, together with the company " Melody " released a new album "Stories in the first person . "

Since June 2014, Vladimir has been Director General of the Open Sea International Art Festival.

February 14, 2015, Vladimir together with UMG released the triple album "Life in 3D" .

From September 20, 2015 to January 1, 2016 he took part in the 3rd season of the show of the First Channel " Just Like It ", where he was reincarnated as Bogdan Titomir , Leonid Agutin , Evgeny Osin , Kai Metov , Alexander Pankratov-Cherny , Alexander Aivazov , Konstantin Kinchev , Nikolai Gnatyuk , Valery Leontyev and John Lennon .
