1.7L Zetec-S VCT at 1999 Ford Puma
Ford Sigma are small in- line four-cylinder engines sold by the Ford Motor Company under the Zetec-SE brand and Mazda under the MZI brand. The engine was introduced in the mid-1990s, production continues to this day. Like the SHO V6 and SHO V8 , Sigma was developed with Yamaha . Intended for smaller Ford models, the engine was supposed to replace the older HCS and less voluminous CVH .
