Crossplot

Crossplot ( English cross - cross, plot - graph) is a term used primarily in Earth sciences to describe a specialized chart that compares multiple measurements of quantities made at one time or in one place along two or more axes. The axes of the diagram are usually linear, but can also be logarithmic.

Crossplots are used to visually reflect the quality of adaptation of hydrodynamic models (for example, crossplots calculation-fact of cumulative oil production), for the interpretation of geophysical, geochemical and hydrological data.
