His Excellency Don Jaime de Marichalar and Saens de Tejada ( Spanish: Excelentísimo Señor Don Jaime de Marichalar y Sáenz de Tejada ; born April 7, 1963 , Pamplona , Navarra , Spain ) is the former husband of the eldest daughter of the King of Spain, Juan Carlos I Infanta Elena . Biography

He studied at the Jesuit College in Burgos , the Jesuit College of St. Stanislav de Kostka in Madrid at the Yago School in Dublin ( Ireland ). He studied economics at the private Madrid Higher School of Marketing (Escuela Superior de Estudios de Marketing, ESEM) with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing . In 1986, he completed internships in various financial organizations in Paris . After a year of work in the global financial market sector, he was appointed Senior Advisor to the Managing Director of Crédit Suisse First Boston in Madrid. He was an adviser to Sociedad General Inmobiliaria [1] and president of the Winterthur Foundation (engaged in cultural projects).

Since 1995 - Member of the Royal Seville Riding Society ( Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla ), an aristocratic club founded in 1670 . [2] [3] Member of the National Olympic Committee of Spain. [four]

Family

March 18, 1995 in the Seville Cathedral was married to Her Royal Highness Infanta Don Elena .
