Uryl ( Kazakh. Өrel ) is a village in the Katon-Karagai region of the East Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Uryl rural district. The KATO code is 635457100 [1] .

Geographical position
Located on the left bank of the Bukhtarma River in its upper reaches. The highway Ulken Naryn - Rakhmanovsky Klyuchi passes through the village. On the opposite bank of the river is the village of Zhambyl .
Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 2008 people (1067 men and 941 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 1334 people lived in the village (696 men and 638 women) [2] .
