Vityaz (company)

JSC "Engineering Company" Vityaz "" - Ishimbay transport engineering plant for the production of high-terrain vehicles (trademark "Vityaz"), located in the city of Ishimbay , Republic of Bashkortostan . The company also manufactures driving bridges for city buses and trolleybuses of a large class, as well as heating water boilers.

Administrative building of JSC "Vityaz Machine-Building Company"

The plant was founded on May 20, 1977, in October 1981 the first product was manufactured.

In 1994, the two-link tracked carriers “Vityaz” were awarded the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology ( Presidential Decree No. 1187 of 10 June 1994 “On awarding the State Prizes of the Russian Federation in 1994 in the field of science and technology” [1] ).

Among those awarded are Savelyev, Vladimir Ivanovich , the first general designer of the transporters of the Vityaz family. The author of the idea and chief designer of two-unit transporters of the Vityaz family, Oskolkov, Konstantin Vladimirovich , was awarded the Order of Lenin for developing new technology in 1981.

In 2005, Vityaz Machine Building Company became the owner of IZTM.

In 2008, the plant entered the armored holding Uralvagonzavod through Chelyabinsk Tractor Works - Uraltrak LLC [2] .

In 2014, it was renamed into Vityaz Machine Building Company JSC.

Memory

In 2005, a monument to the creators of two-link transporters was erected in honor of the company [3] .
