A distinctive feature of the stadium is the presence of a high (11.3 meters) wall, known as the "Green Monster", which is the left border of the playing field and a popular target for right-handed sluggers. At the top of the wall are spectator seats.
In contrast to the left, the right side of the field ends with a rather low (1.5 m) fence, and field players sometimes amuse the audience with the so-called. "flips", flipping over the fence while catching the ball.
