Biography

A pupil of the youth school of the city of Pavlograd of the Youth School "Meteorite", trained under the guidance of his father Gennady Ilyich Antonov. Later he became a pupil of the Dnepropetrovsk sports boarding school and the Dnepr club. 2009- Antonov's son Oleg appeared.

Club career

He began his professional career in 2002 at the Dnepr-2 club.

In the summer of 2004 he moved to Krasnodar Kuban [1] , which he then played until 2007, having spent 5 matches during this time and scored 1 goal for the main squad in the championship and 3 matches in the Russian Cup . In addition, in 2004 he played 9 matches and scored 2 goals for the reserve team of Kuban in the RFPL doubles tournament . Together with which he won silver medals of the First Division of Russia .

In March 2007, it was leased out until the end of the season with the right of redemption to Kharkiv Metalist [2] , who, at the end of the season, in the summer of 2007, used the player’s redemption right and entered into a full 3-year contract with Alexei [3] . In the season 2013/2014 became the top scorer of Chornomorets in the super cup and championship of Ukraine, as well as the sum of all the tournaments in which the Odessa team played.

In June 2014, he signed a contract with Kazakhstan 's Aktobe for a period of 2.5 years [8] .

Antonov quite organically fit into the Kazakh “ Aktobe ”, which is confirmed by his goal statistics - 13 goals scored in the 31st official match for “ Aktobe ” [9] .

In June 2015, he signed a contract with FC Gabala [10] .

He played in the youth team of Ukraine under 17 years old , for which he spent 17 matches and scored 9 goals. He played for the national team until the age of 19 . Since 2007, he played for the Ukrainian youth team (under 21 years old) [3] , played 9 matches, in which he scored 4 goals.

For the first time in the national team of Ukraine Antonov was called by Oleg Blokhin to a friendly match against Sweden , which took place on August 10, 2011 in Kharkov [11] . Antonov came out in this match in the second half. The second time he played for the national team under Mikhail Fomenko . In May 2014, he was called to the preparatory meeting, in the framework of which a meeting was held with the Niger team . Antonov came out at the start, was replaced during the break.
