Morphology
The fruit bodies of the hat-cutaneous , most often central, are rarely eccentric, for some genera ( Panellus ) the lateral position of the peduncle is characteristic. The color and size of the fruiting bodies are diverse.
Hats of various shapes, in mature mushrooms from convex to funnel-depressed, dense or finely fleshy.
Lamellar hymenophore , attached to the pedicle, often downward, less often free.
Bedspreads are often absent; a number of representatives are characterized by the presence of a private bedspread that leaves a membranous ring or a fibrous zone on the leg.
Spore powder in light shades: from white to cream or grayish. Spores are round or elliptical.
Environmental Features
Ordinary grow almost everywhere, belong to various environmental groups.
