Avangard is a former Russian football club from Podolsk . In the 2008 season , the club took first place in the Championship of Russia among LFK (Moscow region) and received the right to speak in the Second Division .

On December 3, 2010, the general director of the Vityaz football club, Yuri Mikhailovich Polyakov, announced the merger of two Podillian clubs - Vityaz and Avangard [1] [2] .
