Career

Club

Pupil of the Republican football school in Yerevan .

He began his career in 1969 in Yerevan " Ararat ". For three years (1969-1971) spent in the team’s double, he scored 9 goals.

Since 1970 he has been involved in games for the main roster.

He played in Ararat until 1977, played 160 matches, scored 20 goals.

He was twice included in the list of 33 best football players of the season in the USSR and became, together with the team, once the champion and vice-champion of the USSR, twice the owner and once finalist of the USSR Cup , participated in European Cup matches.

In 1978, in connection with the draft in the Soviet Army , Nazar moved to CSKA Moscow , which he played until 1980, having spent 53 matches during this time and scoring 9 goals.

In 1981 he moved to Kuban , in which he played 9 matches for the main squad that season and 8 more matches for the double, in which he scored 1 goal.

In 1982, he returned to his native Ararat, in which he played until the end of his career as a player in 1984, played in 56 matches, in which he scored 1 goal.

In 1990, already as a playing coach, he spent 15 matches and scored 2 goals for Kotayk from the city of Abovyan .

Team

As part of the main national team of the USSR, he made his debut on November 28, 1976 in a friendly match with the national team of Argentina . The next match was played on December 1 of that year against the Brazilian national team , and the last - 3rd - on March 23, 1977 against the national team of Yugoslavia . [2]

Coaching

After the player’s career ended, he began to work as a coach and led the Kotayk team from Abovyan, including as a playing coach. Then he headed the Olympic team of Armenia , then he was invited to CSKA by his best friend Alexander Tarhanov , with whom he had been friends since 1978 [3] .

After that he worked in various positions in the club “ Torpedo-Luzhniki ”, in the Russian team , in Ramensky “ Saturn ” [2] .

Since 2005, he has been chairman of the board of directors of the Moscow club Nika [4] .
