Wladimir Sabowski ( Polish. Władysław Sabowski ; March 29, 1837 , Warsaw - March 19, 1888 , ibid.) - Polish writer , playwright , poet , essayist , journalist (wrote under pseudonyms Wołody Skiba , Bolesław Bolesny , A. Błydowski , A. Błędowski , Omikron ).

Biography

He studied architecture at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw . During the uprising of 1863, he was associated with the Reds camp, served as press officer for the National Government, and edited the rebel’s illegal periodicals.

After the suppression of the uprising, he lived in exile. In Leipzig he edited the publication “Ojczyzna” (“Fatherland”), in Brussels - “Wytrwałość” ( 1864 - 1865 ). From 1869 settled in Krakow . He worked in the newspaper Kraj ( 1869 - 1874 ), then founded his own political newspaper Kurier Krakowski. At the same time edited "Dziennik Mód" ( 1873 - 1876 ). In 1883 he moved to Warsaw . He worked in the newspapers Kurier Warszawski and Kurier Codzienny ( 1884 - 1888 ).
