Aleksey Aleksandrovich Strepetov (born January 16, 1950 , Kolpino [1] , Leningrad Region , RSFSR , USSR ) is a Soviet football player , midfielder , striker , and Russian coach. Master of Sports of the USSR (1976).

Biography
Pupil of the Kolpino club "Izhorets". He began to play as a striker, then retrained as a midfielder. In the major league of the USSR championship he played in 1968-1976 as part of the Leningrad Zenit . The next three years he spent in the first league in Dynamo , was the captain of the club.
Having finished playing, he worked as a coach at Izhorets and Svetlana, who played in the Leningrad Championship. In the early nineties he founded the national team of veterans of Leningrad. In 1996 he was the head coach of the Karelia-Erzi club Petrozavodsk . Since 1999, he worked as a coach in the Zenit club system, in 2007 he was the head of the double.
In 2005, Alexei Strepetov was awarded the honorary title “Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation” [2] .
Since 2009, together with Kirill Nabutov, he commented on Zenit matches on St. Petersburg's 100TV channel.
In 2014, he was a member of the FC Petersburg consultants group participating in the championship of the MRO Severo-Zapad III division [3] .
As of the beginning of 2018, he was an adviser to the General Director of FC Dynamo St. Petersburg [4] .
Currently working in the selection department of FC Zenit St. Petersburg [5] .
