Porphyry structure

Porphyry structure - a type of rock structure, uneven-granular structure of igneous (mainly effusive and vein , for example, minette ) rocks . It is characterized by the fact that the main glassy ( volcanic glass ) or microlithic mass (or their combination) includes large crystals - phenocrysts of minerals (porphyry precipitates).
