Content
Early years
He was born on April 12, 1920 in the village of Glazuny, now Torzhok district, Tver region in a peasant family. He graduated from incomplete secondary school (7 classes), school of FZU. He lived in the city of Lublino (now the district of Moscow). He worked as a mechanic at the Lublin Foundry and Mechanical Plant.
In the Red Army since 1939 .
During the Great Patriotic War
In 1941 he graduated from the regimental school. Member of the Great Patriotic War since June 1941 . Member of the battle for Moscow .
The commander of the platoon of the 2nd Guards Tank Brigade ( 33rd Army , Western Front) of the Guard, Senior Lieutenant Sudakov M.P. On December 27, a platoon cut the Vitebsk-Orsha highway. Acting along the highway, he destroyed two assault guns. After 3 days, December 30, 1943, Sudakov died in battle.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 24, 1944, for exemplary execution of command missions on the front of the struggle against Nazi invaders and the courage and heroism of the guard shown to senior lieutenant Sudakov Mikhail Pavlovich posthumously the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
He was buried in the urban-type village of Liozno .
Memory
One of the streets of Moscow was named after M.P. Sudakov (until 1966, Kirov Street in the former city of Lublin ). There is also a square, which was given the name in honor of Mikhail Sudakov, where a monument was erected between houses 14 and 16. A memorial plaque is installed on the building of the Lublin Foundry and Mechanical Plant. The name of Senior Lieutenant Sudakov is forever included in the lists of the unit in which he served. In November 2011, GOU secondary school No. 1986 (since 2014 GBOU School No. 2010) was named after the Hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Pavlovich Sudakov. On the facade of school and house number 28 on Sudakova street, memorial plaques were installed.
