Azerbaijan Beach Soccer Team is the country's main beach soccer team. Represents Azerbaijan in international competitions. The head coach is Brazilian specialist Enrique Gustavo Zlokkovik Silva.

Friendlies
From March 18 to 31, 2009, the Azerbaijan Beach Soccer Team held a series of friendly matches as part of the training camp in Dubai . The national team defeated the UAE champion, the Furzhan club with a score of 8: 1, and in the next two games with the national team, the UAE first lost with a score of 3: 5, and in the second match took a rematch with a score of 4: 2. World Cup 2009
In June 2009, the Azerbaijani team took 8th place, reaching the 1/4 finals of the European World Cup 2009 tournament, which took place in the Spanish city of Castellon de la Plana , while defeating the national teams of Portugal and England . [four]
2011 World Cup
In the qualifying round of the 2011 World Cup held in the Italian city of Bibiano from July 11 to 18, the Azerbaijani team fell into the same group “F” with the teams of the Czech Republic , France and Kazakhstan . The first game with the Czech team ended in victory for Azerbaijan with a score of 5: 4. Zeynal Zeynalov scored a hat-trick [5] . The next game with the French team ended in defeat with a score of 8:10. Having beaten the Kazakhstan team in the 3rd round with a score of 9: 2, the Azerbaijani team, taking second place in the group, reached the 1/8 finals, where they met with the Portuguese national team [6] . The game ended with a score of 5: 2 in favor of the Portuguese national team. Hikmet Bagirov and Muslim Huseynov distinguished themselves in the Azerbaijani team [7] .
Euroleague 2018
On June 26, 2018, after the victory of the Spanish national team over the French national team , the team from Azerbaijan first reached the Euroleague Super Final. The opponents of the Azerbaijani national team became the teams of Spain , Portugal and Switzerland .
