Creation History
In 1988, the group Dune, who performed hard rock for the first time, was left by guitarist Dmitry Chetvergov , drummer Andrei Shatunovsky and vocalist Andrei Rublev. The remaining Viktor Rybin and Sergey Katin decide to change the style and stage image of the group [1] . At that time, Sergey Katin [2] wrote a comic song “ Country of Limonia ”, which played an important role in the formation of the success of the team [1] .
On January 6, 1989, a video clip for the song “Country of Limonia” appeared on the air of the popular TV show “ Musical Elevator ”. For the next 12 months, Dune sang nothing but this hit. In December of the same year, the songs “Firma” appeared (“I don’t know the best word ...”) and “Give-give!”. On them, as well as on the "lemon" hit, "Dune" shot on this clip [1] .
In 1990, the "Country of Limonia" was taken into the program " Song of the Year " [3] . The company Metadigital released a vinyl record (45 rpm) "Country of Limonia", which included 8 songs. [four]
In 1991, the album was reissued. Four new ones were added to the eight previous songs, including the provocative “Greetings from Big Hangover”. Some songs have changed their name (for example, the song "Schizophreniade" appeared on a new album called "Brave Piglet").
