History

It was first mentioned in the first half of the XVIII century as the Middle Captain Lane, was named so by its location in the Captain's settlement. Since the beginning of the XIX century, it was known as Zherebtsovsky Lane - by the name of the 1780 homeowner Gavrila Alekseevich Zherebtsov. The modern name was given in 1955 along the neighboring Ryazan passage. Initially, the lane passed from Kalanchevskaya street, after the laying of the railway line it was torn up, and the section adjacent to Kalanchevskaya street was called the Zherebtsovsky dead end. Later, the impasse was abolished, partially preserved in the form of an anonymous passage [1] .

Description

Ryazan lane begins from Ryazan passage near the railway Alekseevskaya connecting line ( Kalanchevskaya - Moscow-Kurskaya stage ) and passes east to Basmanny lane.

On February 8, 2016, two-way traffic was replaced by one-way traffic.

The "tolerable commission" of the Moscow Government, which decided to preserve the historic building, was arbitrarily demolished by the developer at the end of January 2016.
On the territory of the site, by order of Coalco and MR Group, the construction of a residential complex of 60 meters high is underway - despite the legal height limit of 30 meters in this security zone.
