Ayatskaya culture - the Eneolithic culture of the Middle Urals of the second half of the III - beginning of the II millennium BC. er It was singled out in the 1970s according to the materials of the Ayatsky settlements ( Sverdlovsk region ), studied by E. M. Bers . Covers the territory of the basins of the upper and middle currents of Iset and Miass . Small unfortified settlements of several household and residential buildings are located in elevated areas. Dwellings were built using natural granite boulders and monoliths as walls, niches, as well as for lining foci. There are traces of log buildings.
The main occupation of the population is hunting. Found tools, made on the tiles of carbon black slate , a variety of stone arrowheads. Ceramics are characterized by round-bottomed vessels with a corolla, straight or slightly outwardly bent outward, ornamented exclusively with a comb stamp.
