The bridge over Laucesa is a car and pedestrian bridge in Daugavpils on the Laucesa river on the Mane . It is located near the confluence of the river in the Daugava , 100 meters from the mouth. The length of the bridge is ~ 35 meters.

Stone Bridge
The first arched, single-span bridge appeared here in the middle of the XIX century . It was built of granite blocks. During the expulsion of German troops from Mane on July 27, 1944, the bridge was destroyed. After the war, a new concrete bridge was built on the remains of the old bridge. The remains of the old bridge can be observed at low water levels in Lauces and Daugava .
Concrete Bridge
The modern bridge is built of concrete structures. Nearest objects near the bridge - Monument to the defenders of the city , park, 6 high school. J. Rainis , grocery store, ex. Mane hospital. The last house on the left in the picture near the bridge - before the war, the Lutheran church, burned down in the war (rebuilt into a residential building). Near the bridge there are mainly one and two-story old houses (beginning of the 20th century). The bridge is used by public transport. In the coming years, it is planned to repair the bridge.
