Viktor Yakimov (born December 19, 1951 , Karpinsk , Sverdlovsk Region ) - Russian politician, deputy chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region (since 2011), deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the V convocation (2007-2011), chairman of the House of Representatives of the Legislative meetings of the Sverdlovsk region (2000-2004).

Biography
In 1970-1972 served in the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany .
In the years 1972-1986. - Assembly fitter, foreman at the Oktyabr Production Association in Kamensk-Uralsky , then director of the television and radio equipment repair plant.
In 1986, he was appointed deputy chairman of the Kamensk-Ural City Executive Committee, and in 1988-1991. - Chairman of the Kamensk-Ural City Executive Committee.
In 1991, he created and headed JSC Assistance.
On April 10, 1994, he was elected to the Sverdlovsk Regional Duma from the Kamensk-Ural four-mandate constituency No. 3.
In April 1996, he was elected head of the city of Kamensk-Uralsky .
In March 2000, he was elected as a deputy of the House of Representatives of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region of the 3rd convocation and re-elected as the head of Kamensk-Uralsky for a second term. April 21, 2000 elected chairman of the House of Representatives.
In May 2000, at a joint meeting of the chambers of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region, it was found that in 2000-2002. the representative of the Federation Council from the regional parliament will be the chairman of the Regional Duma E. In December 2007, he was elected to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the V convocation from the party “United Russia” , in connection with which he resigned as head of the city of Kamensk-Uralsky (before the end of his term of office V.V. Yakimov, 4 months remained). He was a member of the local government committee.
On December 4, 2011, he was elected as a deputy of the reformed Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region from Kamensky single-mandate constituency No. 14. On December 20, 2011, he was appointed deputy chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region [1] .
