Replay Review

In a replay of the finals, Alex Ferguson put in the goal of Manchester United Les Sealy instead of Jim Leighton , who missed three goals in the first match. After that, Leighton did not play a single match for United and soon left the club.

Sealy Les made some good saves in the match. The winning goal for the β€œUnited” in the 59th minute, scored defender Lee Martin .

The 1990 England Cup became the first trophy of Alex Ferguson as the head coach of Manchester United.
