This is the last film starring actor Brad Renfro , who died on January 15, 2008 at the age of 25.

Story
An article published by Reuters describes the plot of the film as "seven stories that take place over the course of a week in the lives of film actors, rock stars, a vampire, and other morally ambiguous characters." The film takes place in Los Angeles in the 1980s. [1] However, scenes with the supernatural will not be included in the final version of the film.

Initially, Brandon Routh played the role of Jamie, but he is not in the final version of the film, as it was decided to remove all “vampire scenes” from the film adaptation. [2] The role of Christie was originally played by Ashley Olsen , but she dropped out of the project and was replaced by Hurd.
Making a movie
Filming began on October 12, 2007 in Los Angeles, and then moved to Uruguay and Buenos Aires. [one]
Actor John Foster announced that all elements with the supernatural that are present in the stories, including vampires and zombies, were removed from the film adaptation. [2]
Movie Release
The film premiered on January 22, 2009 at the Sundance Film Festival . [3]
