Origin and History
According to historians, Palacio houses speak of the Celtic origin of the Galician, since similar dwellings also existed in Britain during the Iron Age .
Museums
The Galician village of Piornedo, famous for its paliso, is currently a historical and ethnographic museum complex. For example, the “Sesto House” is a private family museum of palacio, the owner of the house himself was born here in 1964 and lived until the 1970s.
