Plaz-Parade is the lost square in Saratov . Formed by the streets of Beloglinskaya , Bakhmetyevskaya and Volskaya . There was no fourth limiting street: the square ended approximately in the middle between Volskaya and Aleksandrovskaya streets.
The size of the area was not very large: approximately 155.5 by 190.5 m (29622.75 m²). [one]
The area was gradually built up: on May 4, 1901 an eye clinic was built on the square (now the clinic of eye diseases) [2] , later one of the buildings of the pedagogical institute was built on the remaining part of the square.
The remaining part of the square became known as Plaz-Parad Street, and since 1969 - Zauloshnova Street . [3]
The square is known for the estate of Victor Borisov-Musatov (now the house-museum).
