Temryuk Bay - a bay off the southeast coast of the Sea of Azov .

Administratively, the bay is part of the Krasnodar Territory of Russia .
Geography
Located between Cape Kamenny and Achuevsky. Open to the north, protrudes into the mainland for 27 km. The width at the entrance is 60 km. Depth up to 11 m [1] .
The main channel of the Kuban River flows into the bay. At the mouth of the Kuban are shallow Kurchansky and Akhtanizovsky estuaries . Near the mouth of the Kuban is the city of Temryuk . Also on the bay there are settlements Priazovsky , Kuchugury , Peresyp , Golubitskaya and others. The low-lying shore, overgrown with reeds [1] . In the southwestern part of the bay is Sandy Island [2] .
From mid-January to March it freezes [1] . The bay has developed fishing.
