History
In the 18th century, second-major Agrafena Ivanovna Durasova bought 1317 acres of land from the Mezhevy Chancellery and here, on the right bank of the river. Sukhoi Biryuch, one verst from the current [2] village of New Uren, Shumovskaya volost, founded the village, calling it Biryuchevka. Subsequently, this village was also called Zhigulikha, but for what reason is unknown. A.I. Durasova sold the village of Biryuchevka to Lieutenant Ivan Stepanovich Krotkov, after whom, during the general land survey, there were 116 peasants' souls (30 yards). From I. S. Krotkov, this estate passed to his son, Sergei Ivanovich, after whom he bought it, in 1871, count. advice. Konstantin Egorovich Malaev (1425 dec. 1631 soot.). Malaev sold the land remaining behind the allotment of the peasants (791 dess. 1631 soot.), In the same 1871, to the peasant Shamshetdin Abushaev, and according to his will, her peasant Gaini-Zyamal Ilyasova Abushaeva received it; from her, in 1898 , the estate was transferred to the peasant Mukhamet-Karim Shamshetdinov Abushaev, who had a manor here and a magnificent orchard with a nursery.
The peasants, former S. I. Krotkova, 167 souls (48 yards), received 668 acres of land (22 estates, arable land 592 dess. Pasture 19 dess. And meadows beyond the Volga 35 dess.) Now there are 82 yards ( 235 men and 265 women).
Since 1892 there was a literacy school.
