Biography
For a poem on the occasion of the marriage of Louis XVI - " La France et l'Autriche au temple de l'Hymen " - Rouche received a sinecure . He attracted attention with his didactic poem Les Mois ( 1779 ): it was praised until it was published.
A supporter of constitutional monarchy , Rush was executed during the terror . There is a legend that when he was taken to the execution along with Andre Chenier , the poets recited the first dialogue from Andromache . After Rusche, an interesting “ Consolation de ma captivité ” ( 1797 ) remained - a correspondence with his family during imprisonment.
