Bogachev, Gennady Petrovich

Gennady Petrovich Bogachev (born March 6, 1945 ) is a Soviet and Russian film and theater actor. In the troupe of the Bolshoi Drama Theater in St. Petersburg since 1969 [1] . People's Artist of the RSFSR (1990), laureate of the highest theater prize of Russia “ Golden Mask ” (2015) [2] .

Biography

Born on March 6, 1945 in the city of Shatsk, Ryazan Region . In 1969 he graduated from the acting department of LGITMiK and was accepted into the troupe of the Leningrad Bolshoi Drama Theater , where he still works today. Since the early 1980s, he has been one of the leading theater artists.

The most famous films are the small but memorable roles of the waiter Dima in the film “ Holidays in September ” and Stamford in the first series of the movie series “ Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson ”.

She is the uncle of actress Alice Bogart .
